Details about the Google Pixel 9 have been leaked
We have been able to see the leak of the rendered design of the new Google terminal, work and courtesy of our French neighbor Steve Hemmerstoffer, known as OnLeaks for 91mobiles. At the moment we have a video that shows a 3D render of the terminal and several images.
According to the leaks, it is known that this model will not only reach the market but that we will be able to see it along with two more versions. Specifically it would be accompanied by the Google Pixel 9 Pro model y the return of an old acquaintance, the Google Pixel 9 XL. The XL version stands out, which we have not seen in the Google company since model 5 of the series. Throughout the article you will see photos of the base model in black and the pro version in blue.
On the other hand, this terminal is expected to bring very advanced artificial intelligence-based functions. Although we still do not know if it will have some of the most notable features of the previous model, the Pixel 8, which brings the Video Boost 8 video processing system.
Although we do not know most of the functions of this mobile, for this we will have to wait for the official announcement, what we do know about the new Google Pixel 9 is the following.
What we know about design
Looking at the images of the Pixel 9 design we see that one of the most notable changes is in the design of the front camera module, which now stands out for its shorter but more prominent shape. Despite this, the mobile still retains the essence of the Pixel series phones. It will have three rear cameras in said module which will include a telephoto lens and two other sensors about which nothing is known yet. On the other hand, what we do know is that it will have the camera embedded in the center of the screen.
An AMOLED flat screen that now has a size of 6,1 inches, smaller than the Pixel model launched in September 2023, but which promises to offer an improved visual experience. Of course, the screen will be supported by a design with more refined rounded shapes that make better use of the size of the terminal.
According to data from OnLeaks, the Pixel 9 will have the new Google Tensor G4 octa-core processor along with the Mali G715 graphics processor. In addition to this we know its dimensions, which seem comfortable in the hand, with a size 152,8 x 71,9 x 8,5mm (being height, width, thickness, in millimeters), although the protuberance of the front cameras, a priori, does not seem very comfortable.
And that's not all, because there are more surprises on the way. The Pixel 9 is expected to feature Qi2 charging technology, an updated standard that offers a speed of wireless charging up to 15W.
When will Google's new Pixel series mobile phone come out and how much will it cost?
Although the price has not yet been confirmed, The Google Pixel 9 is expected to continue the trend of previous models that slightly increased prices to what we had been accustomed to. To give you an idea, the Google Pixel 8 went on the market with a base price of €799. Now, the Pixel 8 Pro was more expensive, costing €1,099. Perhaps the price of this new mobile will be around these prices.
And another fact that we do not know yet but we can extrapolate it from the launch dates of the previous models. The launch of the Google Pixel 8 was in September of last year so, following the tradition of Google terminals, probably for dates in September or October 2024 we will have the new Pixel series terminals.
