Google is always trying to improve what is already very good, since there are always details to be polished. This time Gboard, the classic google keyboard which is also the most used by all Android users, it is renewed and experimented with a new feature.
This function consists of generate a new batch of stickers from the faces of some emojis already existing. And we say some, because this will not happen with all emojis what's in the app. The generated stickers will be shown as a suggestion from the emojis that have a expression or denote some kind of emotion o feeling, such as the emoji of the thinking face, the smiling one or the lover.
Google already dared last year by launching an update that added the GIFs and stickers at suggestions of the keyboard, but it seems that those of Cupertino like to innovate, and dare to go a step further with this new feature of their keyboard, which can be very striking and capture the attention of users.
As we can see, this new function appears in the form of additional section at the top of the keyboard. When we click on an emoji, suggestions of other «renewed emojis» will appear with the gesture of the pressed emoji, only in the form of sticker. As we have mentioned before, this does not apply to all emojis, so we must select those that have a face and have a gesture on their face.
This function is in experimental phase, and will appear for the first time in the beta phase 9.0.2.290777105 of Gboard. In order to test it, we must download that version of the Google keyboard, and then enter the keyboard settings, and in the preferences section, we must activate option It says "show emoji switch key", which in Spanish we could interpret as "show emoji suggestions". Once this is done, this area should appear at the top of the keyboard that suggests us to click on an emoji and try the new stickers.
If we want to download this version of Gboard to test this new feature, we must sign up as tests in the Play Store and thus we can have the latest version of the Google keyboard, although like any trial version, it may still be a bit green and contain some bugs.
