We like Gmail, lately we are dedicating various publications to it, and we already have how to send encrypted emails with a password, how to send emails that cannot be forwarded. And now he joins the loved ones dark modes. And it is that after the dark mode for Keep or Calendar and even the Google app itself. And now it comes to Gmail ... More or less.
This is Gmail, Google's email manager begins to have a dark mode, but they are only the first brushstrokes, since it is not a complete dark mode. We tell you in detail.
Dark mode for Gmail
This dark mode is a declaration of intent from Google, since at the moment it is not fully implemented, we can only see it in the menus. Also, at the moment we will not be able to activate it from a "switch" as in other applications or other options.
So if we can't activate it… How do we know? Well, because it is in your code of the latest APK, the version of Gmail v2019.06.09.
As we have said, we can only find them in the menus. So for the moment we will not find it on the trays, or in the side menus.
When will we see it?
That is, at the moment it cannot be considered that the dark mode has been implemented in a global way, but we already know that we will see it, possibly shortly.
It was quite obvious that at some point Gmail would receive a dark mode, since Google is implementing it in all its applications. Preparing in this way, for the dark mode of the operating system that Android Q will bring as announced at the Google I / O.
Normally when we see this type of news in a Google application, if things work out, it doesn't take long to see these same new features implemented in the beta and even in the stable app.
For this reason we believe that it will not take long to see it, since we will possibly see it before the launch of Android Q, so we will possibly see it in just a month or two hopefully (perhaps something more if Google does not just launch into the subject ).
At the moment, as we can see, it is in a very preliminary version, so we have to wait for it to finish development, but it probably won't take long.
What do you think? Will it arrive shortly or will it take time to see it? What do you think of what has been seen so far? We really want to see it!
