Google Assistant is one of the most used voice assistants today, and it is not for less, since more and more novelties are applied and more and more interesting. Now Google is testing so that messages can be sent from the lock screen. We tell you the details.
Although Google was a little late to the party, since Siri, Apple's voice assistant, had been around for years, when he arrived he put all the meat on the grill. For this reason, as we said, it adds functionalities from time to time, usually quite useful.
Utilities like create routines have been quite well received by users. But not only that, eGoogle's voice assistant hides numerous secrets, even game that you will surely like, but you will have to inquire to discover.
Google Assistant will allow you to send messages with the screen locked
These are tests that are being done in the latest beta of the Google app for Pixel phones (version 10.28). At the moment it is not known if it will apply or not, and if it does, it is not known if it will only be for Pixel phones or we can use it on any mobile that uses Android. That time will tell, although it may stick just for Pixel phones.
To use this function we will use it in the way that we would as we have been able to do so far. We specify the recipient and the message, all through voice and the message will be sent, but now we can do it without having to unlock the screen.
Until now, you could use the function in a similar way, but it asked you to unlock the phone to continue, which is not always possible.
At the moment this functionality is being seen in some Pixel 3 o Pixel 3XL. As we have mentioned before, we do not know if we will see it in other models, we will even be waiting to know if we will see it in the other Pixel models such as the Pixel 2 or Original pixel, although it is possible that if they receive this function.
We assume of course, that it will work with Voice Match, so that you can do it yourself with your voice, to offer more security, if not, it can surely be deactivated if you do not want this functionality.
What do you think of this new feature? Do you see it useful? Or do you prefer to unlock the phone to send messages? Tell us your opinions in the comments!
