Chrome is the most popular browser on Android. So it is normal that Google, the company behind the browser, tries to take care of its users. We recently saw all the news in Chrome 77. And now we are presented with a new functionality. The one to group tabs that you have open. That is, make groups of tabs to better navigate between them.
Are you opening a lot of tabs when you are browsing Chrome? If so, this new functionality can relieve you and present itself as a solution to the chaos that the browser becomes when you browse intensively. Now you can group your tabs. For example, if you are looking at two things at the same time and you have tabs open for each of the things; you will be able to group the tabs of each topic in its corresponding «folder».
Google Chrome group tabs
The system is simple, we will have a grid view where we can more easily see the tabs that we have open. There we can easily drag one tab on top of another to create a group. It works in a very similar way to how we create a folder on our Android desktop. Once the group is created, it is as easy as repeating the process to group your tabs, dragging the group to put them inside it.
You will be able to navigate you will be able to navigate through the same group of tabs without having to go through the others, as if they were only the ones you have open. A very comfortable way to navigate if you are to open many tabs at the same time.
If you have not received the update yet, but you want the grid view, you can activate it, although until you receive the update you will not be able to group them. To do this you must go to the address bar and write chrome: // flags. There we will search grid and we will select Tab grid layout. And we will activate it by clicking on Enabled New Tab Variation. Now you can see the tabs in the form of a grid, in case the wait consumes you.
other developments
But that's not all that Google Chrome offers us for Android in this update. Things that need little information, such as the time, the result of a match, etc., we can consult them from the tab, without looking for it. For example, you write time in Madrid and the search bar will tell you the weather, without having to search for it.
What do you think of this new update? Not bad for a minor update, right?
