The Google Go suite is basically a lighter version and with certain cuts of the Google suite applications, for phones with fewer resources, which usually go with Android Go and with this whole suite. And Google seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on these types of apps now. We recently talked about Gallery Go, a trimmed but powerful version of Google Photos. Now it is the turn of the Google voice assistant.
Until now due to its limitations, in Android Go you could not use the Google Voice Assistant, also known as Google Assistant, from the Google application, that is, you did not have direct access to it (which is very important in Google Go where there are shortcuts for most of the system apps). But now it seems that Google is putting the batteries and not only brings us the gallery, but also the assistant.
Google Go with voice assistant integration
Google Go, apart from the suite, is also the Google application (the search engine) that these phones with Android Go carry. And it is one of the most careful applications of its GO version (which could be intuited, because after all it is the company's star app.
That is why the Google voice assistant will be added to that application, now you can access the Google voice assistant with one touch from the Google application.
It should be noted the importance of the Google app in Android Go, since you can do many things from it, such as trends, search for GIFs, shortcut buttons for YouTube, weather, Maps, and now, the voice assistant .
Google Lens
But it turns out that it is not all that is going to be incorporated into this lighter version of Android (or the application). And now we will also have Google Lens available.
For those who do not know, Google Lens is a Google function that allows you, through the camera, to make a "scan" of what you are focusing on and search the Google database to give you information about what you are seeing.
A very useful app that you can use for more than meets the eye, so it's a good time to give it a try, especially if you have Android Go.
How about Android Go? We like to see improvements little by little!
