And covers the cities of Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, but also Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Chicago, Dublin, Hamburg, Helsinki, Kaohsiung, London, Los Angeles, Lyon, CDMX, Montreal, New Taipei, New York, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco Bay, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich. And soon, although we do not yet know at what rate, Google Maps will have more cities with this updated information live.
The Mountain View company wants us to have information about the rental bikes both in our city and in cities in other countries when we go on a trip. In the case of Spain, regarding bicycle rental, Bicing and BiciMAD are the services included. And indeed, in Madrid we have been able to verify how the service provided by Google Maps works.
Just by searching BiciMADWe can already see where each and every one of the rental bike collection stations in the capital of Spain are. And next to the location appears the number of bicycles in the station, and also the number of bikes that are available at the moment. Of course, we can also receive directions to get to the bike rental station that is closest to our position.
