Magisk has become one of the most popular Android software; the successor of Xposed Framework, actually, it was born as an alternative to SuperSU. But now it is much more, it allows us to root devices to apply modifications at the system level, but without altering the system files. And until now it was compatible with versions from Android KitKat to Android Pie. The latest stable update, however, makes Magic v20 be fully compatible with Android 10.
Just been released Magic v20, the latest stable version of the software, which finally makes it 10% compatible with Android 19.4 devices, any of them. Even in the previous version, Magisk v10 beta, the software was only compatible with some devices. But now it can be installed without fear because it can already work in any terminal with this update. It hasn't been a big problem either, actually, because the rollout of Android XNUMX across devices is being -one more time- really slow.
Magisk v20, the latest stable version, already compatible with any Android 10 device
In the Magisk changelog, relative to the latest update -version v20, stable- reference is made to changes applied to MagiskBoot, MagiskInit, MagiskHide, and MagicMount. All of them, obviously, focused on the correct operation of the software with any device that has Android 10 installed. But in addition, changes also for the compatibility of patches and the injection of certain values necessary for the correct operation of the 'app'. Bugs have been fixed and a number of other issues that were recognized in the beta have been fixed.
Now install Magisk it continues to be done in exactly the same way as we did previously; furthermore, there are no significant new features beyond the compatibility with the new operating system. With each update the Mountain View company puts new impediments to the world of 'scene', and this is what explains why the developers have took longer in getting Magisk fully compatible with Android 10.
However, with the most recent stable version already released, we can continue to enjoy the best Xposed Framework modules on our smartphones. And the modules continue to be installed also in exactly the same way, but we must first have installed not only Magisk, but also Xposed Framework as 'complement' of the software. The latest version download links are available, as always, through XDA Developers in the official thread for this software.
