Microsoft Office is one of the most used office packs in the world, both for Android and for other desktop systems. And now for Android, adapting to the new dark modes that are being added in all Android apps, Microsoft Office will also add a dark mode.
The truth is, dark modes on mobile operating systems are welcome. Since you never know when you will be in a dark place and you will need to work or consult your mobile phone.
Thinking about that, Microsoft has wanted to add it to one of its most used work tools: its office package. That already got dark mode for its desktop versions a long time ago and now they arrive for the excel apps, Word and Power Point for Android. And it seems that the thing comes with force, and it is that maybe we'll see it this week.

It is important to say that this is not official. But a follow-up of tweets from different employees of the North American company hint at this news, and we hope we are not wrong.
Many of these tweets have already been deleted, but it does seem that the shots are going there, and being an option that we do have in their versions of Windows or Mac OS, it would not be strange to see it now in mobile operating systems, due to the rise of dark modes on both Android and iOS.
Other companies such as Facebook are also applying dark mode, both in their main app and in Messenger. And surely Microsoft does not want to offer less than the rest of the apps.
Waiting for confirmation
We will be attentive to whether it is confirmed that the suspicions of the dark mode are true, it is possible that it will be confirmed today or tomorrow, although the deployment will be somewhat staggered and may even be received next week in some places.
We will wait for official announcements from Microsoft or the Google Play Store to know if these news will reach our mobile phones or the news will go the other way.
