OnePlus have always been a standard bearer when it comes to software. Now, in the last update they have added new features to the gallery app. We tell you their news.
Android Q is coming, and many manufacturers are already launching Android Q betas. In the last of one of those betas, OnePlus, the Chinese manufacturer, has put an interesting update to its gallery in its version 3.4.4. We tell you its news and how to download it.
News OnePlus gallery
The OnePlus gallery was recently revamped to offer a new carousel interface, especially for collections. Now update again with another novelty.
The news of the gallery are few but interesting, the most important thing is that you can hide photos and create hidden collection.
To do so is very simple, if you are viewing a photo it is as easy as clicking on the three points in the upper right and clicking on hide.
If you have the view in the gallery, select the photos you want and doing the same click on hide. When doing so, it will ask us if we want to move them to the hidden collection, click on to accept and they will head there.
Okay, and now we start looking in the collections and we don't have the hidden collection (obviously, it would be foolish to find it there), so… Where do we find it?
Well, it is easy, we will find it by clicking on the three points located in the upper right part and selecting Hidden collection.
That collection will be opened there and we will be able to see the photos that we have stored there.
And if we want to remove the photos from the collection, then easy. We select the photos that we want to show again and click on the eye button that we will see in the same upper right part of the screen. They will automatically be put into the gallery in a common way.
How to download it
The OnePlus Gallery can be downloaded from the Play Store, it is true, but this news has not yet arrived, since we will need version 3.4.4 for it.
If we want to download it, we will have to download an APK. You can download the OnePlus Gallery 3.4.4 APK from the page you like the most. It is as simple as installing it to use it, although remember that you must accept downloads from the browser you are using.
You can use it with any mobile phone, even if it is not a OnePlus brand, in case you want to try it. When you install it on another phone you will have it as a separate app, while if you download it on a OnePlus you will replace the version you have at this time.
