Use the new editor in Google Recorder to transcribe texts

google recorder editor

Google continues to import services and apps that were previously exclusive to its Pixel terminals. Even in 2020, the Google Pixel 4 incorporated very useful applications that not all Android devices enjoyed. The new editor in the Google Recorder is a living example of this.

The Recorder app was born in the fourth generation of the Google terminal, although the new editor comes along with the launch of Google Pixel 5. The arrival of this new functionality incorporates a very powerful and useful tool to convert texts into audios, also editable.

Google Recorder allows you to edit recordings of transcribed texts

It is a second version that Google has designed for its latest flagship, based on previous versions of the application. This function allows trim parts of recorded audio simply by selecting the transcribed text and cutting it out. This makes it easy to remove unwanted audio from a recording without having to listen to the entire audio. In short, it is a smarter editor that offers the ability to remove unwanted parts.

The application allows us to cut directly from the audio as in any audio editing application, or thanks to its audio transcription, edit the recording as if it were a document, selecting the text we want to remove the audio. Of course, at the moment only English transcription works.

The new version of the application will also allow us create visual waveform videos to accompany your recordings, along with transcripts, so that we can share them on social media. We even have the option to choose between 1: 1, vertical or horizontal aspect ratios. Speaking of sharing, it is a function that has also been implemented in the app to spread it through social networks. On the other hand, transcripts take place offline, so it does not always require an internet connection.

How to download Recorder on Google on any Android

Although we have talked about the exclusivity of this app for the latest devices, Android users always have our ins and outs to get what is supposedly not possible. In this case, We cannot download the app from the Play Store, but we can if we look for it from other sources.

Specifically, the Google Recorder app can get it from an APK, where already several repositories like APKMirror they already have it under their belt.
