The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge have already started testing the Beta version of Android 7.0 Nougat. The Open Beta is coming soon, and at the beginning of 2017 we will have the official and definitive update here. These are 6 of the novelties that we will see in the new version of the operating system for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
1.- Always ON improvements
The Always ON screen mode is the one that is activated when we have the screen off, but it shows us information making use of the advantage of AMOLED screens that do not consume power when they are black, because the pixels are off. Now the Always ON mode will have new designs for the clock and will also have more information to show with the screen off, which will make users see less relevant having to turn on the display.
2.- More visual interface
The wallpaper will become vitally important in what has to do with the smartphone interface, because now it will appear at various times. For example, we can configure it to be seen behind the app folders, so that they are translucent. The wallpaper will also be seen behind the conversations window, with the wallpaper gaining more prominence.
3.- Blue light attenuation
Known as night mode, it will be available on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with the update to Android 7 Nougat. It is responsible for attenuating the blue light on the screen, due to the negative effects that it has on our brain when we use the mobile at night and that make it difficult for us to sleep.
4.- Redesign of the notification section
We will also see changes in the notifications and quick settings section, which will have a new iconography, as well as a new organization of the quick settings panel.
5.- Change the screen resolution
In addition to the above, we will also have an option with which to quickly change the screen resolution to a lower resolution, something that will be useful to consume less battery and system resources, especially if in the future smartphones with 4K resolution that integrate a software similar to this of the Samsung Galaxy S7.
6.- New battery saving modes
And continuing along the same lines, with the aim of improving the mobile's energy autonomy, we will find new battery saving modes with which the use of it will be optimized.
