Asus sells so few watches, it wouldn't launch any more ZenWatch

Android Wear smartwatches are a total failure. While Apple increasingly sells Apple Watch, fewer and fewer Android Wear watches are being sold. Asus would be selling so few smartwatches, that could no longer launch Asus ZenWatch.

The Asus ZenWatch are not sold

If the Android Wear already sells little, the Asus ZenWatch less. It is true that a watch with Google's operating system for smart watches has sold a lot. This is the case of the Moto 360. The Huawei Watch could also stand out, which seemed to be the only rival to the Apple Watch. But the truth is that the Asus ZenWatch have not had any relevance in the market since the first one was launched. Sure, it raced the Moto 360. But now the Asus ZenWatch 3 no longer competes with any of those, and they are only sold 5.000 to 6.000 Asus ZenWatch units a month.

With these results, Asus may not release more watches with Android Wear. This is also a failure for Google's operating system, which has failed to rival the Apple Watch. Nor is it that the Apple watch has been a complete success, since even many users who have an iPhone consider it to be a useless smartwatch. However, in the case of Android Wear, it is that the number of smart watches that have been sold with this operating system is almost non-existent.

Will Google decide to continue releasing new versions of its operating system for smart watches? It is a possibility, although if it does not arrive with enough news it will be impossible for it to rival the Apple Watch. Perhaps the only option that Google could have would be to launch its own smartwatch, with Android Wear, and that it could be a rival to the Apple Watch.
