To date, there is no official name for the new version of Google's operating system aimed at mobile devices, which at the moment is known as Android L. There are different possible options, such as Lollipop or Lemon Meringue Pie, but there is one more that has gained strength: Licorice (licorice).
And the reason to think that this could be the name is none other than a message on the Google+ network that he has published Giovanni calabrese. And who is he for credibility? Well, one of the people who sculpts the figures that represent the versions of Android, so that something might know, obviously. And, as the reference to Licorice is clear, it has not taken long to think that this could be the name chosen by Google finally for the next major update of its operating system.

The truth is that it would not be strange for Google to surprise with the name of its new Android version (which has many options, such as Leo referring to the Nestlé sweet), since it should not be forgotten that in the latest version KitKat until the last minute everyone thought that the name of this would be Key Lime Pie.
