RAM memories up to 4 GB are ready

Last year the Samsung Galaxy S3 was presented with a memory RAM of 1 GB. It was one of the best smartphones of the moment, and it is surprising that just a year later there is already talk of RAM memory four times higher. SK Hynix has presented the memoirs RAM 4 GB, with 20 nanometer technology. They will arrive at the end of the year.

The news comes just over a month after South Korean company Samsung announced and introduced the memory modules. RAM 20 nanometer of 2 GB. They were actually made up of four 512MB memory units. SK Hynix has announced the memories that double in capacity to these, and also with technology of 20 nanometers.

But the best thing is not only the fact that they manage to double the capacity of the memories RAM from Samsung, but would also reach transmission speeds of 2.133 Mbps. Samsung memories, of the LPDDR3 type, cannot exceed 1.600 Mbps. This improvement is significant, since it will make the smartphone faster although the demands are also higher .

The company claims that the first smartphones that will have memories greater than 2 GB will begin to arrive in the second half of this year 2013, and could be referring to the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, HTC Butterfly S, Sony Xperia UL and maybe some other high-end smartphone. However, it appears that the company would not have the 4GB memory units available until the end of the year, at which point it will begin mass production.

We can therefore expect that smartphones with 4 GB memory will become a standard in 2014, this year having been the year of the transition from 1 GB memory to smartphones with 2 GB memory to the mid-range. Will the difference in performance really noticeable?
