If you thought that Samsung already had many terminals on the market, perhaps too many, then be prepared that everything indicates that they are working on one more. And, the truth is that this one does have a detail that makes it really interesting compared to other devices: it would integrate Intel processor.

The truth is that this adventure, if true, it would not be uncharted terrain, since not long ago the Korean company put on the market a tablet that already included an Intel SoC. The model was a 3-inch Galaxy Tab 10,1. Of course, the truth is that it would be the first phone of this company with a processor from the aforementioned manufacturer.

The information comes from the Korean source DDaily, and it is indicated that this model would reach the market at the end of this year, so it would be in the design phase and, probably, if it is true in a short time the specific device will begin to pass the corresponding certification tests. By the way, that from the same publication they indicate that the Intel processor would be a atom Z3500.

On paper, a mid-range terminal

Therefore, we are talking about a component of the range moorefield, which was presented by Intel at the Mobile World Congress, and which uses 64-bit architecture and operates at a frequency of up to 2,3 GHz (the Samsung terminal would integrate some 1,7 GHz models so that consumption is reduced and the temperature did not rise excessively). In this way, we are probably talking about a mid-range terminal with Android operating system.

It seems that one of the reasons that would lead Samsung to launch this terminal is that the Intel processor would cost very little, since the price that seems to have been established in this case is seven dollars, when the normal thing in a component of this type is that it reaches the twenty. The fact is that everything indicates that in not long we could see a phone from this company with an Atom processor on the market. Would you find it interesting?
