Who said mobiles with 4 GB RAM? That could soon be a part of the past. And it seems that the first mobile with a 6 GB RAM memory could be launched soon. Specifically, it would be a Chinese mobile, a Vivo mobile. It would have a high capacity RAM. Will some high-end manufacturers like Samsung or Sony launch a smartphone with such a high capacity RAM this year?

RAM memory of 6 GB

Today's computers still come with 4 GB RAM. There are already mobiles with RAM units of that capacity, mainly in the high-end. But the truth is that the 4 GB of RAM could be left to nothing before the arrival of new RAM memory units of even more capacity. Specifically, this year a smartphone will be launched that could have a new 6 GB RAM.

Apparently, and according to an analyst, the new Vivo XPlay 5S would have a 6 GB RAM. It is curious, because it is not even clear that mobiles with 4 GB RAM offer better performance than mobiles with 3 GB RAM, so the 6 GB could be more of a promotional matter, a marketing strategy, than a real improvement on the smartphone. In any case, we assume that a 6GB RAM will always be better than a 2GB RAM. Until now, it had been said that the new smartphone would have a new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB RAM, so we will see if it really has a 6 GB RAM or if it will be some another smartphone that is going to be launched this year which will have a memory with that capacity.

In any case, what do you think? Will Samsung, Sony, LG or any of the big companies launch a mobile with a 6 GB RAM memory this year? And even more importantly, is that improvement in RAM 0 relevant, would it be better if news will arrive in other components?
