Until the NFC arrived, which is still beginning to expand, credit or debit cards depended a lot on magnetic stripes. And, the POS terminals with which they charge in stores all have a magnetic stripe reader that is used by sliding the card through the reader. Then came the NFC, which is integrated into some cards and some POS terminals, and with which we can pay without even the card coming into contact with the reader. Since NFC is also built into many smartphones, there has been a lot of talk about the possibility of making payments from the smartphone using these technologies. The problem that users have is that in the end we do not know which stores will be able to charge us like this and which ones will not, and the logical thing in the end is to use what we know. However, that changes with Samsung Pay. The key to this technology is that it works just like any other magnetic card. This is thanks to the fact that the smartphone itself generates a magnetic field, which simulates that of a card. Of course, you will not have to slide your smartphone through the card reader. Just by bringing it closer, any standard reader will read the information and assimilate it like that of any other card. This means that you can use your smartphone to pay at any conventional POS terminal, even those that do not include NFC. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S6 can also be used in NFC terminals.
