The Alcatel One Touch Idol X terminal was not one of the most anticipated models of the Mobile World Congress fair, but when it was discovered that its thickness is only 6,5 millimeters, the surprise has been great. This is because due to this specification it is one of the thinnest phones on the market today.
But this is not the only interesting specification of this new model. Its screen is 4,65 inches with a resolution of 1.280 x 720. It is not Full HD, but it is not bad at all since it reaches 316 dpi density in its AMOLED type panel. Obviously, it is protected against scratches and bumps.
Your processor is a model of 1,2 GHz dual-core from Mediatek company that, being combined with 1 GB of RAM, its performance with all current software should not be a problem and, therefore, the solvency of this Alcatel One Touch Idol X is more than assured.
Complete and without many loopholes
Taking into account that this model is not designed to compete with those that are part of the high-end product range, it is true that it does not lack anything to be an excellent solution for those who are not very demanding. An example of this is its rear camera 8 megapixel, which is even capable of recording 1080p videos and includes LED Flash. The front model is 1,3 Mpx.
Storage capacity has two possible options: 8 or 16 GB and, here, we find one of its shortcomings, since it does not allow the use of microSD cards to increase this. Seamless connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and USB 2.o. It lacks nothing ... except NFC, of course.
Finally, as far as the operating system is concerned, this is Android 4.1.2 with hardly any modifications, so it is very well updated and, therefore, using Jelly Bean is a possibility from the first moment. Its battery is 1.820 mAh, which is not bad at all. Now we only need to know its price and availability, worse as a mid-range terminal it is not bad at all.
