Android Wear smartwatches could make 2016 the year of success. After the second generation Motorola Moto 360 that was launched last year, and the Huawei Watch, it seems that this year new smartwatches with Android Wear arrive. Specifically, two new watches from Fossil arrive, a sports-oriented Nixon, and the Casio watch.

Two new watches from Fossil

Last year Fossil launched the first Android Wear smartwatch, the Fossil Q Founder. But what appeared to be a simple watch could be much more, as it could be the first of many. In fact, Fossil has announced two more smartwatches with Google's operating system. And that means one thing, that there are already three smart watches on the market, the same as Motorola, and more than Huawei, Asus or Sony when it comes to Android Wear.

Fossil Q Marshal

The two new watches are the Fossil Q Wander and the Fossil Q Marshal. Although the Fossil Q Founder, its first watch with Android Wear, will continue to be marketed, the truth is that it seems that the Fossil Q Wander is the watch that wants to relieve this, with a very similar design. In general, they are watches that look like all other watches that have Android Wear, although they are simply one more option in the market, something that is not a negative thing, because it brings more competition and this can only lead to the arrival of best smart watches. The Fossil Q Marshal itself is something different from the other two, both the original Fossil Q Founder and the Fossil Q Wander, being a watch with a more shock-resistant design, more prepared to suffer more battle and being a watch that we can use on a day-to-day basis.

The two watches will be priced from $ 275. There is no final official release date, although it will be released later in 2016. There will be two variants, with different sizes, 42 and 46 millimeters for the watch case. And depending on the strap chosen and the size of the watch, the price will also vary, with those $ 275 being the cheapest price that these watches will have.

Nixon Mission

The Nixon Mission is also arriving today. It stands out for several aspects. One of them is technological, as it is the first to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, a processor launched for smart watches. It is probably a processor with a performance similar to that of the processors used so far in smart watches, but with a lower power consumption. However, it stands out especially for being a watch designed for athletes. Designed in California, with surfers in mind, it is capable of diving up to 100 meters in water, and it is also a shock resistant watch, so it will be the ideal watch for those who want a smart watch to go with. of route through the mountains with the bicycle or to go scuba diving. It will come with special apps for surfers or skiers.

Its price has not been confirmed. We can take for granted that it will be a somewhat more expensive smartwatch than standard Android Wear watches, but perhaps not so much compared to sports watches that are on sale right now.

Casio WSD-F10

Similar to the previous one is the Casio WSD-F10, a smartwatch with Android Wear that had already been officially presented, but which will not hit stores until March 25. The new smartwatch is similar to the previous one in that it is also a watch designed for athletes. In fact, it is capable of diving 50 meters under water. It does not reach the levels of the previous one, but in any case there will be no problem in submerging it in the water.

Casio WSD-F10

With a barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, GPS, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi, it could be the perfect watch for athletes. It will hit stores this month with a price tag of $ 500 in four colors: red, green, orange and black.
