AOKP founder signs for Cyanogen Inc

CyanogenMod

Cyanogen It has gone from being a simple ROM - considered the best of all custom ones, yes - to being a company that seems to have gone to the next level. In fact, the founder of the second best custom ROM -and also based on CyanogenMod-, Roman Birg, has become part of the team that works in Cyanogen, so they seem determined to make history.

And, if Android has had a lack since the operating system was launched, that has undoubtedly been the interface. While Apple has always pursued a great exterior design, and a very careful interface, in Android we had seen interfaces that were more typical of ten years ago than of a great technology company, and the same can be said of manufacturers that develop their own interfaces. In such a world, CyanogenMod came to show that things could be done better. Based on the experience of the pure Android interface, they began to add some unique features, and streamline the system, so that many users opted for this ROM instead of the one installed by the manufacturer or even Google itself.

And then another ROM came, a second ROM in discord that came to do in CyanogenMod the same thing that CyanogenMod had done in pure Android ROM, improve it. To the additions of a ROM, more news and customization possibilities were added. Although for many AOKP is the second best ROM in the custom firmware panorama, the truth is that we could well say that it is even better than CyanogenMod, although less expanded. Perhaps this has been what has led the team at Cyanogen Inc, the new company, to sign Roman Birg, the founder of AOKP. Of course, they are forming a high-level squad that can mark a before and after. Manufacturers do not know how to design and develop interfaces, it must be said, but Cyanogen is willing to sell it, and also begins to have the best developers and designers in the world of technological interfaces. We will see if in a matter of time we do not end up seeing CyanogenMod installed on a Sony, Samsung or LG.
