Normally, custom Android ROMs allow us to configure which icons we want to see, although if this does not happen in your case, the module StatusBar Icon Hider from Xposed Framework will help you to achieve it. Basically this application allows hide the Clock icon, battery icon, signal cluster and application notification icons (those that are normally left further).
