Discover the 10 best Xposed modules for Android

Xposed-Android

Xposed is one of the main applications that we can find for root users since it allows us to customize the appearance and all kinds of functions of our Android device. Normally we have offered you some of the most interesting ones, but today we make a compilation of the 10 modules that should not be missing in any terminal.

For those who don't get to know Xposed Framework for Android, we recommend you take a look at this article in which we talk about its advantages and, of course, how to install it. If you are interested (which surely will), we leave you this list with 10 of the best modules that we can find (either in Xposed's own repository through the phone or in the Google Play Store).

  • Deep Sleep Battery Saver: As its name suggests, it allows us to save battery in any way possible: by deactivating connectivity, "waking up" the device for X seconds ... It is an incredible option for those who suffer from the great evil of smartphones and the best thing is that it is available both for root and non-root users, although the former have a number of advantages over the latter.
  • Blacklist: Another fairly intuitive application that is in charge of blocking unwanted calls and messages, both from known contacts and those we have never seen before –or for example, private numbers-. We can also create lists and have absolute control of what is capable of calling us or not.
  • Boot Manager: When we turn on the device, certain applications begin to open that we may not want. If you want to avoid that automatic start, this module for Android allows us to easily. Basically it is the Start section of the Task Manager on Windows computers, but on the phone.
  • Complete Action Plus: When we want to share something or open a link or file that can be read by various applications, Android offers us all the options. With Complete Action Plus we can customize this menu "Complete action using ..." or "Share ..." moving our favorites to the top, remove some applications, customize the appearance of the list ...
  • XHaloFloatingWindow: This module is able to achieve the floating effect present in the Paranoid custom ROM so that notifications and other applications appear in floating windows. It is very useful for optimal use of multitasking, but it can be annoying at times.
  • Protected Apps: From the same creator as Boot Manager, this application can protect certain applications with a password, PIN or drawing patterns, so that no user can access apps like WhatsApp or Facebook without our permission.
  •  XPrivacy: When installing any application we can see what are the permissions it needs. However, thanks to XPrivacy, we will be able to prevent certain apps from accessing data that is private to us (and in our opinion, they do not need to be consulted) such as the calendar, the call log or the dictionary on our keyboard.
  • Native Clip Board: If for some reason you don't like Evernote or Google Keep, there are Xposed for Android modules capable of creating a “board” where we can “paste” our a post-it  with reminders and all the text we want.
  • GravityBox: The last module on the list but no less important. GravityBox allows you to almost completely customize the interface of your Android phone or tablet in a very simple way. It is a very complete application and you can find all the information in this article.
