The new version of the development CyanogenMod 12 is getting closer to being a reality and, this, will be based on the Material Design design (which is from the starting point in Android Lollipop). Well, some images have been published in which you can see what this work will look like.
The truth is that flat colors and large white spaces are present in the new work of these independent developers, one of the best known in the "Android Universe". In addition, the shadows are also from the game and the new google keyboard has also been included. An example are the two images that we leave below (which correspond to the application browser and the terminal, respectively).
But apart from offering a new look based on Material Design, CyanogenMod 12 also includes new features regarding the applications that are integrated. For example, the file browser changes considerably, and so does the message manager. That is, there are not only visual improvements, as is clear below.
By the way, in the sound section it has also been shown that there will be great changes. An example of this is that the recorder has been completely redesigned, something that was necessary since it was exactly the same since Android 2.3. Also, the music player, now called Eleven (and therefore the successor to Apollo), it is totally new. There is no exact date for the new ROM to be released and therefore available for download. Of course, everything points to its deployment will begin before the end of this year Therefore, in a short time, the first versions would be available for the most used models to later expand the possibilities to other devices.
