Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 leaked: no home button and fewer frames

The future of tablets with Android continues to paint very black, especially if we take into account that since Google are starting to bet on tablets that they use Chrome OS. However, some companies continue to bet on this format, including Samsung. What stands out most at a first glance at this leaked design is the lack of a physical home button. Although in Samsung mobile phones it has already eliminated it from the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, the truth is that in tablet format it still had space and utility. Even so, its absence is most likely explained by the design opting to reduce the frames somewhat more than usual, to extend the screen in the same way as in current 18: 9 mobiles.

The screen seems to adopt a 16:10 format, and among the rumored features are: Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 as the main processor, 4GB of RAM and 7.300 mAh of battery. There is, of course, no trace of a fingerprint sensor, although it is rumored that there will be some kind of biometric identification.

Presentation next to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

And when will this new tablet from Samsung? It is very likely that its launch will take place next to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the next phablet of the Korean company. Thus, the date would be next August 9, 2018. Samsung would present its new top of the range and its new Android tablet; worse even that would not be the complete package. From Samsung they plan a direct attack on multiple fronts, and that includes presenting a new smartwatch, a new smartwatch that would have Wear OS instead of Tizen. With all this, the Korean firm would present a whole suite of devices that could have Bixby 2.0 as the main axis, which has been confirmed for months to be launched with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It is necessary, however, to wait for more news that allows us to discover clearly Samsung's plans for its next devices of all kinds.
