Gmail will answer your emails with smart replies

Reply and follow-up in Gmail

Google has announced a new feature for gmail which will allow emails to answer themselves. From Mountain View they have presented smartreply, a feature that will allow quick response suggestions in Google Allo and in Gmail so you can effortlessly reply when you're walking or don't have time to stop to write a full email.

Google's smart responses, which are coming so much to Gmail for Android as well as for iOS, they will work by analyzing the received message. When you go to reply to an email from your Gmail application, three blocks with three quick responses will appear below, depending on the content of the email you want to reply to. For example, if it is an email that asks you when a meeting is best for you, one day or another, the answers will show you the two options of the day or an option that will write that both days are good for you.

Once you choose one of the three, if you want to choose them, you can send it immediately or edit the answer by adding something else. Edit or not, you will save a lot of time writing and replying to emails. Something very useful to respond to availability of meetings, interviews or simply to reply to an email to confirm that it has been read.

Gmail's smart responses also count, as Google has explained, with machine learning that will make them better as their use increases. For example, you will modify the way they are displayed depending on what we have previously edited or written about. That is, if we put "Thank you!" instead of "Thank you", Google will modify the quick responses with the exclamation points to better suit our way of writing.
