Goodbye to TouchWiz, Samsung Experience will be the new interface

Almost since Android is Android we have seen how there was a great difference between Google's own interface for its operating system, and TouchWiz de Samsung. The latter has been part of the history of the operating system, but it has had both users who admired it and users who hated it. Now TouchWiz says goodbye. It's the end of an era. The new interface will be called Samsung Experience.

From TouchWiz to Samsung Experience

TouchWiz It has been for years and years the interface that Samsung has integrated into smartphones with Android as the operating system. It took them a long time to renovate. And while its rivals, from Apple to Google itself, integrated a new design for the interface, TouchWiz continued with its own style of another era. However, it seems that we are going to have to say goodbye to TouchWiz. Already in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, withdrawn from the market, the name Grace UX was used for the smartphone user interface. However, in the latest Betas of Android 7.0 Nougat for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, there is no longer even a reference to the TouchWiz name, which would be replaced by Samsung Experience.

The conclusion of an era

Actually, it must be said that the new interface design of Samsung mobiles is not going to be something very new. That is, we will not see a radical change with the new version of the graphical interface. And is that the changes in the appearance of the interface we have been seeing little by little since the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The smartphone interface, as well as the Samsung apps, already had a renewed design, much more minimalist, much more in line with Google's Material Design and much more typical of the current era. There has been a definitive transition that has culminated in something simple, and that is TouchWiz no longer exists. Hence the name change to Samsung Experience.
