Google Now is officially updated including the new widget

Google Now

Just yesterday we said that Google Now was the topic of conversation in a support photo on Android, and it seemed that they were commenting on the new widget that the application could carry, which until now was only accessible from Google Search. It is precisely this search application that has received the update today that already includes the widget Google Now, so that we can always carry it on the initial screen of our device.

New services have been included in Google Now, although most foreigners, at the moment, which allow, among other things, to buy tickets for shows and movies. However, what is most striking is, obviously, the new widget that will allow us to place Google Now on the main screen, which is a big change from how it worked so far. We must bear in mind that the service had been relegated to the background, despite the importance that had been given to it when it was launched. And we say this because to access it you had to first open Google Search manually, it was not present on the screen and we could not jump to it with a single step.

Now things change, which shows that the Mountain View company is now willing to give him the role he deserves, and which they said he would have when they took him out. Definitely, Google Now it can be really useful, thanks to all the information the company has about us and our regular activity. Having it on the front page can be interesting, always offering us interesting data, such as the weather, the distance to home, or even the distance to a store whose website we have seen a few moments before. Yes indeed, Google Now It is still limited to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher, so at the moment it is still a minority that uses it. Hopefully, little by little more users will be updating and enjoying the latest version.

The update for Google Now is already available in the UK, and it may not have arrived in Spain yet. However, if you specifically do not have it, do not worry, it could be a matter of days before it expands to all locations in our country.
