HTC Butterfly S, with Ultrapixel camera, Full HD, and larger battery

HTC Butterfly 2

HTC is not willing to give ground to its competitors throughout this year. If the HTC One has been a success after the company's bad streak, now they could bet on launches of new smartphones based on it. One of them would be the new HTC Butterfly S, a replacement that was already launched last year, but with some new features.

To begin with, it should be noted that, like the original HTC Butterfly that did not arrive in Spain, it will have a Full HD 1080p screen. In fact, the Butterfly was one of the first smartphones to have this screen. The worst of all is that it did not arrive in Spain, and we had to wait for the Sony Xperia Z for the first smartphone with a Full HD screen to be in stores. The new HTC Butterfly S It couldn't be less, and it will also have that ultra-high definition screen.

However, there will be changes to the camera, which will become Ultrapixel. We can't expect it to be less than four megapixels. You already know that Ultrapixel cameras differ from conventional ones because they are capable of capturing a greater amount of light, as they have a sensor with larger pixels. It is roughly believed that the camera on the HTC One would correspond to a 12 megapixel camera. The most logical thing is that the HTC Butterfly S stay in line and have the same camera as the HTC One.

Finally, it seems that it would also have a higher capacity battery, which would also make it less thin than the flagship, although it would increase the autonomy of the terminal. And all this without forgetting that it seems that it will also have the possibility of expanding the internal memory by means of a microSD card. It will probably feature one of the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The Snapdragon 800 seems too much for this terminal, but we could never rule it out as a new bet to compete with the Galaxy S4. At the moment, nothing is known about the rest of the specifications, although it is not too worrying, since the HTC Butterfly S It should be presented at the end of this month of June, so it would be a matter of weeks to know all the official details.
