It has been officially presented on HTC Desire 826, the company's new smartphone that is not a flagship, but is not a basic range either. It is a pure mid-range, one of the few that is already on the market, although with a very remarkable appearance, and it is specially designed to capture high-level selfies.
High-level front camera
It does not matter that the front cameras are of much worse quality than the main cameras, users continue to use this camera for selfies, and the truth is that those photos turn out well, due to some science that is difficult to explain. Sometimes, one wonders why the front camera is not the highest level, since it is the one we use the most. Overall, for a couple of times that we are going to photograph a landscape, with the low photographic level that most users have, it does not matter if we use a 20-megapixel camera or a 12-megapixel camera.
Something like that must have thought of the Taiwanese company for the HTC Desire 826, a smartphone that is not high-end, because it cannot compete in processing with the flagship. But it does stand out for having an UltraPixel camera, with a sensor whose resolution is 4 megapixels, so we see that it is the same as the main camera of the HTC One M7. A great camera that will allow us to capture high-level selfies.
To this we must add a main camera that will be of even higher quality, being 13 megapixels, including flash, and with f / 2.0.
A pure mid-range
Leaving the camera aside, we find a smartphone that is one of the few pure, real mid-range smartphones, which is not about being a cheap smartphone, but neither is it about being a mid-range that is sold as a high-end. This smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, a 64-bit processor that stays in the mid-range, it is neither the entry-level Snapdragon 410 of the new smartphone to be launched by Motorola, nor the high-end Snapdragon 810. In addition, it also has a 2 GB RAM, a 16 GB internal memory expandable by microSD, a 2.600 mAh battery, and BoomSound speakers.
It will arrive in four color combinations: white / champagne, black / red, dark blue / light blue, and white / red. At the moment its price has not been confirmed, although it will be launched in the Pacific regions, which includes Asia and the United States, and we are waiting, quite likely, to see when it will be launched in Europe.
