In the middle of Mobile World Congress 2018, Huawei has presented a new tablet that adds to the Android ecosystem. This is the Huawei MediaPad M5, which will come standard with EMUI 8.0 and Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei MediaPad M5: this is the new tablet of the Chinese company
The Android tablet sector may not be going through its best moment, but that does not prevent companies like Huawei keep betting on them. During the Mobile World Congress 2018 have presented a new tablet, the MediaPad M5, which will come standard with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. What processor main we find an eight-core Hisilicon 960s, while the GPU it is a Mali-G71. The memory RAM is 4 GB and the the memory internal is 32 GB, although it can be expanded using microSD cards.
La screen It is the most important of a tablet, and in this case we find 8'4 and 10'7 inches depending on the model and a QHD + resolution of 1600 x 2560 resolution. To facilitate the control of the device, the Huawei MediaPad M5 has fingerprint reader that supports gestures. Thus, by pressing we perform the action of going back, and by holding down the action of going back to the beginning. If we slide our finger down we see the recent tasks, and if we slide up we launch the Google application. The device has a camera 13 MP rear and an 8 MP front camera, something that is not far from other similar devices from the company such as the MediaPad M2. The battery reaches 7.500 mAh.

Prices and models of the Huawei MediaPad M5
The Huawei MediaPad M5 has different models They vary according to their size, their connectivity and their internal memory. They all share the same amount of RAM, 4GB. The cheapest model only has Wifi and 32 GB of internal memory and sells for 349 euros in its 8-inch version. The most expensive model has LTE connectivity, 4 GB of memory and costs 128 euros. You can see the different versions in the following image.
Regarding launch of the MediaPad M5 series, the first wave will be in March 2018, with Spain between the countries that will receive it.
