Google Inbox came as the new email client that could one day replace Gmail. Your role is to become a more helpful, smarter, and more intuitive customer. And it seems that it will be updated imminently adding new options to postpone emails and attend them later.

Snooze emails

It is not always possible for us to respond to emails when we receive them. In fact, the great thing about emails is that we can put them on hold and reply to them whenever possible. However, it is also true that sometimes we forget to respond to these emails. That's why Inbox came up with the option to postpone emails. We could ask that the emails reach us later in the same day, or the next day. Logically, the email is not resent, it only appears as new received in our mailbox.

However, there were few options to postpone an email, since you could only postpone it to the same day or the next day. That is why in a new and imminent update of Inbox, more options will be added to postpone emails. Specifically, we can choose to postpone the emails for the weekend, and within the weekend we will have more options, such as receiving them only on Sunday, or only on Saturday, or receiving them Saturday and Sunday, from Thursday to Friday, etc. In addition to this option, the option of postponing emails for another time later in the week will also be added, thus expanding the possibilities and not only the next day. We can even set the email to remind us the following week, or a last option "someday". We do not know precisely what this option would consist of but it is very likely that it is the possibility of selecting a day in the calendar so that we are reminded of said email.

These new options will be coming to Inbox with a future update that is already imminent and should be available very soon.
