Most Android applications are "throwaway", is that the case for you?

There are applications that are of a habitual and, even, intensive use. Two clear examples of this are the Internet browser (generally Chrome) and WhatsApp, which 90% of users have installed on their Android and that not a day usually goes by without being used of some kind. But, this is not exactly a norm ... quite the opposite.

The large number of Android applications that exist, whether in the Play Store or any other (such as Amazon's), has led to the market for these developments being especially volatile and very little stable. It is true that downloads multiply every month -almost at the same rate as the device market grows with the work of Google-, but a study has been carried out in which it is shown that the loyalty of users to the vast majority of the developments is really low.

So much so, that as you can see in the graph that I leave behind this paragraph, can see that once the first 72 hours have passed in which an application is installed in the Android terminal, this practically ceases to be used (Except for those that are considered basic, such as those that I have indicated before). So here's a problem to tackle that has absolutely nothing to do with Google in this case.

The truth is that if this is improved, the logical consequence is that despite the fact that we are talking about monthly downloads in the Play Store that grow at a rate of at least 10.000 per month, they will not be highly effective for developers since the income business by advertising it cannot be kept very well with the data that has been known.

Using Android apps in time

Does it happen to you on your Android?

Having seen the report and the comments, we would like to know if this way of proceeding with Android applications occurs with you and, more importantly, what are the reasons if so. Poor quality of developments? Little use of these on your Android? The novelty effect, which is very difficult to resist?

Be that as it may, what seems undeniable is that with the time-of-use ratios that exist of the applications, must be search for a formula for this to change since, otherwise, I do not think that many of the developers can stay in the market. What is your opinion?
