The Moto E4 could arrive with Android 7 in the coming months

Moto E3

The new Moto E4 it could already be falling. Or at least, it could already be among the company's future plans. A new mobile will be launched with features that fit with Lenovo's most basic line of mobiles. This would be the new Moto E4.

Moto E4, a basic range mobile

We know that the Moto E4 will be an entry-level smartphone because it would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series processor. It will likely be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, compatible with technology Quick Charge 3.0, but that is still an entry-level processor. Even so, it would be striking because it is not a MediaTek processor, the option that Lenovo was choosing lately to reduce costs on its mobiles. It seems that it will not be the case with this Moto E4.

Other than that, we can expect to find a screen that is between 5 inches and 5,2 inches, with a resolution that will probably not exceed high definition 1.280 x 720 pixel HD.

We also know that the smartphone would come in four versions: XT1670, XT1671, XT1675, XT1676. Each of these versions will probably differ due to its memory options, as well as whether or not it has Dual SIM. We can expect two versions to arrive when it comes to RAM, and there is talk of versions with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, and 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. Although in the Moto E of previous generations we have seen units with less capacity, this time it seems that that would be the minimum to achieve optimal performance, something that has always been essential in these mobiles.

Moto E4 with Android 7 Nougat

However, if there is something that would draw attention to the arrival of the Moto E4, that is precisely the fact that it would have the latest version of the Android 7 Nougat operating system. That means it will be one of the cheapest mobiles on the market to arrive with this version, and this could be something very relevant to users as well. It is true that it seems that Older Moto E's won't upgrade to Nougat, but that will not be a problem if we consider that Lenovo will have a very cheap Moto E4 in the market available with said operating system. The launch of the mobile would be expected at the beginning of next year 2017, thus being one of the first mobiles that Lenovo would launch in 2017.
