Motorola has played a key role in the world of mid-range smartphones with the Moto G. Now that it is owned by Lenovo, it seems that it will also launch a tablet. It would be a tablet that would compete with PCs by having a multi-window interface.

Motorola will launch its own tablet

There has long been talk of the possibility of Motorola launching a tablet. However, tablets are not as widely used as before, and that is why it seemed that it did not make much sense for a company like Motorola to launch its own tablet. However, it seems that now it will come, as they are working on it. Keep in mind that now that Motorola is actually a Lenovo company, and that the latter did have tablets on the market, it is logical that they use the Motorola brand to launch a new iPad rival.

A tablet that will rival PCs

However, the Motorola tablet will be based on a new interface that will try to compete with PCs. In general, tablets are almost like mobiles, but with a larger screen. That would not happen with the new tablet that Motorola would launch, which would seek to compete with PCs, offering a multi-window interface, with which we could work in a way very similar to a PC. In fact, there are already enough tablets that have these types of characteristics, including Samsung's high-end tablets and the iPad themselves. However, Motorola would like its tablets to be even more PC-like. Perhaps, being a Lenovo company, they want to launch something like a 2 in 1, a convertible capable of being a PC with its keyboard, but also being able to use only the screen as a tablet.
