The existence of the HTC One X9, a terminal that will hit the market with an Android operating system and that, finally, will follow the line started by the One A9 in terms of offering quite competent hardware mixed with an attractive design. Of course, it does not seem that finally the objective of this device is the high-end product, according to what has been known.
Therefore, we are facing a model that would arrive with the aim of covering the range of phablets in the segment of devices that offer superior quality than the average, understanding by this models such as the Motorola Moto X Play. In this way, a finish should be expected metallic in its case, with lines that will not be very different from those of the One A9 that is already official (but with some curious differences).
The new HTC One X9 (E56) will have larger dimensions, without knowing at the moment what these will be exactly. This is because your screen would reach the 5,5 inches and, therefore, it will seek to be an option for users who like devices with large screens. Regarding the resolution, this would be 1080p (Full HD), so the high-end is ruled out in this section because we are not talking about QHD.
Other characteristics
One of the most interesting is that the processor of the HTC One X9 will be MediaTek, specifically of its new Helio range. At the moment it is not clear if it will be an X10 or an X20, but the second option seems the most possible to try to offer superior performance (mixed with an interesting autonomy). There is another detail that certifies that the new terminal will be part of the mid-range of the product: its RAM remains in 2 GB, which is definitive with respect to what we are indicating.
Other characteristics that come from the information published on Twitter are that the new model will have 16 GB of internal storage; will have a main chamber of 13 megapixels (front 4 Mpx UltraPixel type); and that the battery will reach a charge of 3.000 mAh, thus taking advantage of the integration of a 5,5-inch screen, but not to the maximum as shown I thought. Everything seems to indicate that the HTC One X9 will hit the market at the beginning of 2016, which fits perfectly with the deployment of the processors of MediaTek before commented.

The fact is that it seems clear that the high-end of HTC will maintain its nomenclature OneM, and the new model that we talk about in this article will come with striking options, but for the more interesting mid-range. What does seem clear is that the HTC One X9 is intended to respond to users looking for large-screen devices, a segment in which this manufacturer does not have really outstanding products.
