All eyes on LG today are undoubtedly on the presentation of the LG G6 that will take place in two Sundays at the MWC in Barcelona, one of the most important events of the year that will offer us all the details of the new flagship of the Koreans. But it seems that LG's upper mid-range will receive new members in the coming months, at least that is what the passage of several anticipates us LG mobiles by performance test with the powerful Snapdragon 821 processor.

Last Tuesday LG published a new teaser about the features that the new one will offer us LG G6, and that in this case they focused on the possibility that the new model is waterproof, something that we have already seen in other flagships.

Two LG phones with Snapdragon 821 alternative to its flagship?

Although a few days ago another LG terminal with a Snapdragon 820 processor was seen going through this performance test, the LG H871, which is now accompanied by two other models with similar characteristics. We talk about the two new LG mobiles that we have seen in Geekbench are the LGE LGUS997 and LGM-G600L, two phones that have identical basic characteristics, such as the processor Snapdragon 821 and a 4GB RAM.

Qualcomm Snapdragon

Along with this processor and RAM, the only additional information that both terminals show is that they will have the Android 7 Nougat operating system. While the processor shown by both is the MSM8896, this model can also be identified with the Snapdragon 820, since there are two versions of the 821 that are called the same and another two of the 820. At this point, we understand that the most logical thing would be for them to mount the latest Qualcomm processor that is currently on the street and that it will be the one that also equips the LG G6.

In any case, either the 820 or the 821 will be powerful enough to be a perfect alternative to the new flagship. We do not know what the objective of launching these two new terminals is, but it certainly reveals that LG is working hard to offer different alternatives in the highest range, in the style of the LG V20 that we have not seen in Europe. In two weekends we will meet the new LG G6, and from there we will see what LG's plans are when it comes to expanding its range caps. So far counting today's there are already three terminals that we have seen with a high-end processor from Qualcomm, beyond the LG G6.
