Night mode comes to Twitter

Twitter is updated with a new version that includes night mode as the main novelty. It is a novelty that has been reaching different apps and different platforms over time with the aim of avoiding the large source of light that a mobile phone supposes when we use it at night or in low-light environments. And now the official Twitter client already has this night mode with which the impact of the screen will be reduced.

Night mode

The new night mode is now available for all users who have an Android smartphone and update to the latest version of the official Twitter application. The only thing necessary is to access the left sidebar, and then select Night Mode, the entire interface becoming dark, both the menus and Twitter itself.

Of course, it must be borne in mind that the app does not turn black, but it turns dark blue. In my opinion, this is not entirely positive, because something better could have been achieved with a full black background. In the case of screens with AMOLED technology, in addition to reducing the brightness level of the screen, it would be possible to reduce the level of energy consumption thanks to the fact that the black background on mobiles with this screen does not consume energy, as it can turn off the power. Corresponding LED.

Be that as it may, it is a novelty that is now incorporated into the application. Now it only remains that other applications and platforms of the same or higher level also include this type of dark interface, as could be the case with Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp itself, for example. Apps that could have included this mode for a long time but have not, although now it is more likely that they do.
