HTC unveiled its HTC U11 just a few weeks ago, a squeeze-edge phone that allows for cool features. Now, it seems that the company is working on a new mid-range device, according to rumors, that would also incorporate this technology and that its code name is HTC Ocean Life, a possible mini version of the HTC U11.
The HTC U11 has been a success for the firm and is achieving good sales so this HTC Ocean Life could be the mini version of the brand new phoneoy would follow the same steps as its older brother, with a similar design although some cuts in its characteristics.
A phone that, according to rumors, would work with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. A mobile that would have a 5,2-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and that would have a conventional aspect resolution of 16: 9, as we can know until now.
As far as we know so far, the phone would run on a 2.600 mAh battery that will probably not be removable. The multimedia equipment of the phone would have a 16-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone would work with Android Nougat 7.1.1 as the output operating system and would have the latest version of Sense as a customization layer and would have support for Bluetooth 5.0.
Also, the mobile, like the HTC U11, would arrive with Edge Sense technology that allows us to use the edges of the phone for certain functions such as turning on the WiFi, the mobile camera or other simple actions that would allow us not to have to touch the screen and that we could do it even with wet hands, as the company has shown in some promotional video.
At the moment this is all we know about the new HTC phone and some data remains to be known such as what its price would be or when it would be presented, although according to rumors the phone is expected to arrive at the beginning of the month of autumn. Most likely in the next few weeks we will have new rumors and leakss that help to reveal what this phone would be like and if it would really be a mini version of the HTC U11 or just a new phone of the brand that had nothing to do with it.
