This would be the design of the OnePlus 5T, according to some, a copy of the Galaxy S8

Some time has passed since the launch of the well-known OnePlus 5 and We are already beginning to see the first rumors about his older brother. Every day new news or renders come out regarding the next launch of the company, of which we do not even know if its final name will be OnePlus 5T or 6.

A render that reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S8

The community does not stop assuming its characteristics or design, and without going any further today we are going to take a look at what would be a mixture of the OnePlus 5 with the latest -or almost- from Samsung. On paper it would be a very attractive smartphone and that in the case of being true, it would be very impressive and well received by the market.

OnePlus 5T

You can clearly see frames much tighter than those of the S8 or Note 8, reaching almost to the end of the screen, thus assuming the incorporation of a format 18:9 and in turn a new software that would have to adapt to this new screen format so used by the latest flagships. As a curiosity, it should be noted that this OnePlus 5T it should have the fingerprint reader behind, something the brand is not used to.

Will the OnePlus 5T follow in the wake of all other manufacturers?

My honest opinion is that yes, It is a reality that the trend of recent years in all smartphones to bet on a screen with the fewest possible frames and within the OnePlus panorama we already see some indications that make us think that this will be the case.

These indications are that from what was recently discovered OnePlus, Vivo and Oppo have a close relationship beyond commercialIt seems that some components share them and come out of the same factory. This leads us to think that the latest launch of Vivo, a smartphone almost without frames and with the same back as the OnePlus 5, it could be interrelated with the last of this last signature.

As you can see, the rear is very similar to the latest from OP, it even appears to be the same chassis changing only the fingerprint reader and some very minimal details.

Just assumptions?

All this is obviously mere assumptions, but there is a high probability that in the end they are true and OnePlus will surprise us with a new model that is committed to innovation, even if this means a higher price, the star point and the main claim of this brand. What do you think? Would a higher sale price be justified if you bring a panel without borders?
