Samsung DeX It is now officially available in Spain. When the flagship was introduced, the Samsung Galaxy S8, the new Samsung DeX accessory was also introduced. Thanks to this it is possible to convert a Samsung Galaxy into a PC, and it is already available in Spain.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was presented with an accessory with which it was possible to turn the smartphone into a PC. Samsung DeX it is a base very similar to a wireless charger. It has a USB connection interface, it is capable of charging the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S8, and it also has cooling fans, because the graphic performance required is higher due to having to use a second screen and a graphical interface similar to that of a computer. Because of this, the graphics processor must offer superior performance, and the cooling fan ensures that the smartphone does not reach a temperature that could damage the smartphone.
When you use Samsung DeX and you connect it to an external monitor via HDMI, the smartphone interface will automatically adapt to the monitor, becoming the interface of a computer, with a menu, and with the possibility of running the different applications in windows.
In addition, it is also possible to connect a keyboard and a mouse, so that we can use the smartphone as a computer.
If you do not need a computer to perform video editing or photo editing, but you simply need to be able to use a computer screen, a keyboard and a mouse, to write documents or to manage spreadsheets, you may not need anything else than a Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung DeX.
Samsung DeX already on sale in Spain
Samsung DeX is already on sale in Spain. While it is true that the new Samsung DeX was presented when the new Samsung Galaxy S8 was presented, the truth is that the smartphone was already available for sale, but Samsung DeX had not yet been purchased. Now it is available to buy in Spain for a price of about $160, being rather an expensive price.
Compatible with more smartphones in the future
El Samsung DeX is now compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 +. However, it seems that in the future there will be more smartphones compatible with Samsung DeX. Probably the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also be compatible, but what would be key is that mobile phones that are compatible with Samsung DeX that were mid-range would arrive, as could be the case with the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). In any case, it is likely that the mobiles that will be compatible with Samsung DeX will be the ones that are launched from now on.
