Samsung Galaxy Altius, the smart watch that arrives from Korea

The CES in Las Vegas showed that the range of smartwatches has a future and, therefore, it is not surprising that there are several companies that want to get "on the bandwagon". And one of them could well be Samsung, since some images have been leaked in which it seems quite clear that it is developing a device of this type that it will have by name Galaxy Altius.

These would be the first news of this smart watch, as many already call them. As reported in SamMobile, the images have some credibility and indicate that Altius could be its code name and that this development and that its presentation could take place in just a few months, so it would show that the Korean company does not want to waste time on this product range that, by all indications, it will have very good reception in the market.

Possible response to Apple's iWatch

This Galaxy Altius would be an answer to, for example, the much commented Apple iWatch. Therefore, smartwatches would be one more product range in which both companies “would face… we will see with what end result. The point is that the operating system of this Samsung model it seems an independent development -AltiOS- considering the screenshots and the information that is in it. Of course, we would have to wait to know if it is an evolution from Android, Tizen or, simply, a new creation.

From the interface that can be seen in the images, the independent frames are very striking as a Tiles (the specific ones in Windows Phone) in which information is included and, as far as they can be deciphered, their sizes would be adequate to be handled with a touch screen. Another detail that can be appreciated is that the internal memory of Galaxy Altius is that it would have 256 MB of RAM, 236 being available to be used.

 Galaxy Altius-4

By the way, some sources indicate that this name would not be appropriate, since it is said that in some departments of Samsung Galaxy Altius it has been used as a code name for the new Galaxy S4 phone ... but the images, if they are confirmed to be real, the truth is that they are quite clarifying.
