Samsung Galaxy Premier (I9260) appears in a benchmark test

It is almost easy to get lost among all the devices that the company is preparing at the moment. One of them, and of which we have heard a lot, is the Samsung Galaxy Prime, which was destined to replace the Galaxy Nexus within the South Korean company. In fact, even its internal name, I9260, fits this theory, since the Galaxy Nexus is the I9200. Now, a benchmark test carried out on this device has appeared that confirms some of the characteristics and technical specifications.

It should be noted that the test carried out and filtered has been a GLBenchmark and has come to confirm data such as the operating system that it will carry, the processor, and even the type of screen. As we already imagined, the operating system that it will carry is 4.1.1 Android Jelly Bean, so it will be fully updated if a new version does not come out before, with the exception of the 4.1.2 subversion. From its screen we can know precisely that it will be high definition, with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels.

Its processor was another of the unknowns. Apparently, it will continue to be dual-core, with a Cortex A9 architecture, and clocked at 1,5 GHz, accompanied by a PowerVR SGX 544 graphics processor.

At the moment, there is no more confirmed data about this smartphone. However, we do know what has been rumored about possible characteristics of this Samsung Galaxy Prime. It would come with an internal memory of 16 GB, and with a microSD card slot, a very interesting feature for those who like to tinker a lot with their Android device. Finally, the camera that it would carry, which would stay at eight megapixels, also seems to be known. Something logical, considering that neither the Galaxy S3 nor the Galaxy Note 2 have cameras with sensors greater than that, it seems that Samsung is content with the eight megapixels for now. We will have to wait and see if an official announcement is made about this device, since for now nothing specific is known about its launch date or the price that it would carry.
