There are many changes that will come when Google updates its operating system and reaches Android O phones.s, the Unicode Consortium will launch its new version of emojis, Unicode 10. More than fifty new emojis that will arrive with the arrival of Android O and that we can already know what they will be like.
The new emojis are now ready and it is time for Google to implement them with Android or (and Apple in its iOS 11 version). The operating system will arrive before the end of the year and with it will come these new icons that Unicode already has ready. A total of 69 new emojis not counting the variations with tones in the different skin tones.
Among the 69 new emojis that will arrive with Android O Nine new smileys are included: vomiting, in silence or in anger, among others. Also new food emojis like a pretzel, chopsticks, broccoli, coconut, a steak, a can of tomato. Dinosaurs, a giraffe, a zebra or a hedgehog sneak into the animals tab.
Unicode releases, as we have mentioned, a new fantasy section in which it includes wizards, vampires, elves, geniuses, mermaids or fairies, among others. All creatures with their male and female version.
Usually human emojis released by Unicode they have support for different skin tones and yellow smileys do not. Included with the new publication is a fantasy series in which support is mixed. That is, some creatures are considered human and have variations of skin, like wizards. Others, like geniuses, do not consider themselves human and we will have to settle for the one there is.
With the release of Unicode 10 ready, Proposals for new emojis begin for Unicode version 11 that will arrive next year. It will be during the first quarter when the emoji managers accept the proposals and draw up the final list. The rest, meanwhile, will wait for the arrival of Android O to have all these new icons in our messaging applications.
