Sony SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk, making contact

Opening Sony SmartWatch 3 and Smartband Talk

Sony's new smartwatch and smart bracelet are now official: Sony SmartWatch 3 y Sony Smart Band Talk. The two new wearables of the Japanese company come to fight in the market with the new watches from Samsung, LG and Motorola. There are important news in these wearables, which you can already see in action in our contact.

Sony SmartWatch 3

Few news about the Sony smart watch, but those that arrive are really important. We are going to focus on three main characteristics that we have found the most remarkable. Android Wear is one of them. The company's new smartwatch will feature the Android Wear operating system instead of the Android-based software version of the previous Sony SmartWatch. When Android Wear was announced, the company claimed that it would continue to bet on its own platform, but we see that they have finally chosen to launch the smartwatch with Android Wear, instead of opting for its software version. The best thing about the Android operating system is that all the updates that arrive will also be available for the Sony SmartWatch 3 and will be fully compatible with any Android. Second, we want to talk about the strap that the Sony SmartWatch 3 has. On this occasion, Sony has chosen to continue in the same direction as with the Sony SmartBand, with a main core that is the one that carries everything, and then a interchangeable strap. In fact, it is not only a strap, but it actually also includes the frame of the smartwatch. We can say that the Sony SmartWatch 3 has a single core in which is the screen, processor, memory and little else. The strap, yes, has improved, with a much higher quality closure. Obviously, the variety of straps will be key, since the objective is that we can change the strap to be able to completely change the style of the smartwatch. Finally, we were struck by the fact that we can do without the smartphone, for example, if we are going to run. With the 4 GB memory and Bluetooth, along with wireless headphones, we can listen to music without having to carry the smartphone with us. The Sony SmartWatch 3 has a microUSB socket on the back of the smartwatch, so that we will not have to use any additional charger to charge the battery, but simply connect a conventional microUSB charger. We leave you with the contact so that you can see the Sony SmartWatch 3 in action in more depth.

Sony Smart Band Talk

Sony's new smart bracelet, the Sony SmartBand Talk, is a continuation of the company's previous smart bracelet. Its objective is the same, to be able to monitor the steps we take, the hours we sleep, or the distance we travel when we go running, swimming or cycling, although these last two options will come with time. However, this Sony SmartBand Talk has three important additions. Two of them are obvious and can be deduced by the name of the smart bracelet, as it will be used to make calls thanks to the microphone and the speaker that it has. The Sony SmartBand Talk has Bluetooth and connects to the smartphone to answer or send calls. But to all this we must add that it has an electronic ink screen, with high visibility even in direct sunlight. Thanks to this screen we can carry some applications installed on the smart watch. For example, to the time logic app we can add that of a favorite user, created for those who need to be able to contact a family member in case of emergency. Pressing on the screen will make a call to that favorite contact without having to do anything else. The Sony SmartBand Talk is a smart bracelet with water resistance, so we do not have to worry about sweat damaging it, and it can also be easily washed. As in the previous case, we leave you with the making of contact, so that you can see more in depth the new smart bracelet, the Sony SmartBand Talk.
