Sony Xperia J, the official name of the new ST26i

A few months ago another of those devices came to light that Sony had up his sleeve to launch on the market. Yes, there are already many who are added to the list of launches of the Japanese company during this year 2012, but they are looking to cover the entire market with their new models. The novelty was that the leaked photos of this new mobile, the ST26i, showed that it no longer bore the green Sony Ericsson logo, the synergy formed before the Japanese bought the entire mobile division. Now what we know is that the ST26i is the new Sony Xperia J.

The Indonesian telecommunications regulatory body has already received the first reports where there is talk of the Sony ST26i with his official name, the Sony Xperia J, with which it will hit the market, thus honoring the NXT family, called Xperia S, U and P. The Xperia J it stays halfway between the Xperia U and the P. The data we knew about it has changed a bit. On the one hand, its screen remains the same as when we met it, in four inches, although its resolution is not the same, staying in the 480 by 854 pixels. Its processor retains the same characteristics as at the beginning, being a single-core Qualcomm MSM7627A, with a clock speed of 1 GHz.

Regarding its operating system, it should be noted that it will arrive with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is not bad at all, although after knowing the new Google launch, it will be interesting to know if the Japanese intend to update it to the latest version, 4.1 Android Jelly Bean. At the moment, no details are known of its launch date, nor in the markets in which it is expected to be released, so we will have to be attentive to the new news that is leaking from the interior of the Japanese company about the new Sony Xperia J.
