Sony Xperia T and TX, new firmware that includes screen mirroring via WiFi

The arrival of this new Firmware to the terminals has been really fast since its launch has been known. Only a couple of days ago it was known that the version 7.0.A.1.303 had been certified for Sony Xperia T and TX And, as of today, both models have begun to receive the corresponding update that replaces 7.0.A.3.195.

Contrary to what happens with other updates, in which hardly any bugs are corrected, this one offers some really interesting additions for the user. An example of this is the inclusion of the possibility of mirroring the phone screen (what is in the terminal is seen on the television) using the technology WiFi Miracast which, as you can see in the screenshot below, is really easy to use. In addition, it has been verified, according to Xperia Blog, the processes to unprotect (root) these devices do not work with this update ... so this must be assessed.

In addition, some applications have included the option to "throw" (Throw), which is nothing more than being able to send what is seen on the screen to the desired device through the use of Miracast. An example of supported programs are Walkman and Album.

other developments

Not only has the possibility of using Miracast WiFi been added, other notable additions have also been incorporated. An example of this is that the icons corresponding to multimedia applications Walkman, Movies and Album have been changed. Now they are somewhat more attractive and fit much better with the new versions of Android.

The so-called small apps (small applications). That they are programs accessible from any screen or application and that work on top of what is being done at that time. For now only three new developments are supported and available for download on Google Play: Mirror, Currency, Unit Converter. Finally, they have also added the option of being able to see the icons of the programs that send a message to the Notification bar.
