Sony Xperia Z Ultra, several screenshots of the Launcher are filtered

The famous developer forum XDA-developers has leaked several screenshots of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra that show the appearance that the user interface and the Launcher would receive. The new and long-awaited phablet that we have been calling "Togari" some time ago, would take advantage, as we see in these images, of the large screen it is equipped with: an impressive 6,4 inches very well used.

The design of the system complies with the aesthetic lines that respond to the custom and recognizable Sony layer for Android, based on simplicity and elegance to facilitate user interaction with the system without neglecting the visual experience of the system.

In a device the size of a phablet as it is in this case, these interfaces must be optimized for new dimensions and resolutions, and this is what Sony seems to have done with the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

We see, for example, that in the list of Apps, Sony has added an extra row and column to show more icons or apps on the same screen, and besides everything, the size of the icons has grown notably. The dock or the lower bar of direct icons of the Launcher has also grown, now offering no less than six spaces to place the six shortcuts that we like the most, in addition to a seventh central space reserved for the icon that would take us to the list of apps. It should also be noted that this last icon we are talking about, so recognizable in the Sony user interface for Android, this time presents a design reduced to a square of 3 × 3 circles, and not 4 × 4 as we were used to.
