El Sony Xperia ZL It has been one of the smartphones that has attracted the most attention at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. The Asian device has a great design and good features, which have made it a star of the event. Sony showed it in two colors, black and white, although it announced that it would also arrive in red. Now we can finally contemplate it in the third color, the Red, thanks to the leaked photos.
The big mobile firms had the opportunity to show us their new models at the great technology parade at the last CES in Las Vegas. Among all of them we highlight Sony Electronics with its "super phones", as described by the head of operations of the Japanese company in the United States, Phil Molyneux.
The new Xperia Z was, without a doubt, one of the devices most mentioned by the public after the technology fair, due to its design and features that represent a step for the engineers of the Japanese firm. But we are also left with the image of another of Sony's novelties, the younger brother of the Xperia Z: The Xperia ZL, a cheaper phone which differs in design, but not in technical performance -except for protection against dust and water-, something that we tell you when you we talk about all the specifications of the two models.
These models will be perfect for those looking for the highest quality video and photography among mobile devices, since image quality is lately Sony's obsession - it should be remembered that, last September, Sony launched a TV with 4K quality , ultra HD - that's why it equips the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL with the new Exmor RS, the world's first image sensor with high dynamic range (HDR) video for smartphones, allowing users to capture quality photos and videos and with intense lighting.

Thanks to the release of the manual by Sony Mobile, we can know in detail the Sony Xperia ZL, also known as C650X Odin. One of the data we found is that the same model will be marketed in four coverage variations: C6502, C6503, C6506 and L35h, of which the C6502 and L35h will be HSPA + models, and the C6503 and C6506 will support the 4G LTE band.
But in addition to the manual, and unofficially, they have been made public images, thanks to a leak, which definitively confirm that, in addition to the black and white variant of the model, we can also find the Xperia ZL in red. Although the official Sony announcement already stated that this smartphone would be launched in black, white and red, the latter was not shown in Las Vegas; and, as something that characterizes us journalists is "seeing is believing", we have not settled until the photographs have come to light, thanks to the fact that the company has lent a red prototype to the press at the presentation event of the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL in South Korea.
The launch conditions of the red Xperia ZL are not yet clear, and there are already voices that claim that this red version will be limited to Southeast Asia, which would leave us out of the rest of the markets. But for now they are just that, voices, so we will be attentive to any news about this brand new and long-awaited Sony Electronics model.
