What is better, an Android mobile or an iPhone? It has always been said that it depends, and that it could be something subjective. However, it has also been said that Android was less stable smartphones, with more bugs, and that iPhone had almost no bugs. However, recent results confirm the opposite, that Android is now more stable than iPhone.
Android more stable than iPhone
According to the latest study carried out by Blancco Technology Group, in which Android and iOS users have been consulted, in this first quarter of 2017, 50% of Android mobile users have stated that their smartphone has had errors. Meanwhile, the percentage of users who have an iPhone and who have also stated that their smartphones have had errors, is 68%. In both cases, it seems that both Android and iOS have more bugs than in the same study conducted in the last quarter of last year.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are the smartphones with the most errors, which is curious, since it might seem that it is the phones of the previous generation that arrive with the most errors, but it is not. In reality, this is a clear demonstration that manufacturers have less and less time to analyze their smartphones and test it for errors before launching them on the market.
In the case of Android, one of the smartphones with the least errors is the Samsung Galaxy S5. Again, this confirms that newer mobiles arrive with stability bugs.
Android is more stable than iPhones when it comes to running applications, as there are fewer unexpected shutdowns on Android. The same goes for GPS, which has more problems on Apple phones. While it is true that there are some Android mobiles with a MediaTek processor that have a faulty GPS, it is also true that in general, the GPS of Android mobiles with a Qualcomm or Exynos processor is more accurate than that of the iPhone. The iPhone, yes, have an advantage in mobile connectivity, which is more stable in Apple smartphones.
It can be said that they are not particularly relevant errors. But in any case, it can no longer be said that Android is less stable than iPhone, because it is not.
